What are your credentials?
Becky Grutezmacher is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She holds a Bachelors and Masters in Special Education (Severe Disabilities K-21 and "Highly Qualified" by the state of Maryland in the area of literacy). Additionally, Becky completed a post-masters program in Applied Behavior Analysis. She is Nationally Board Certified and licensed by the Board of Medicine in the state of Virginia as a Behavior Analyst.
Where are your services available?
The Balanced Behaviorist is located in Northern Virginia. All consultation and package services are available in-person or on-line. Additional charge is applied for travel over thirty minutes.
Do you accept insurance?
The Balanced Behaviorist is not currently "In Network" with any insurances, but is happy to provide a Superbill that you can submit to your insurance pending relevant diagnosis. Please contact Becky@TheBalancedBehaviorist.com for additional information on fees for service and packages. Please note that if you intend to submit a claim to insurance, I cannot guarantee that your insurance will provide you a refund for services.
Are you available to speak at trainings?
Yes! The Balanced Behaviorist frequently provides trainings. Past training experiences include as an invited speaker at the Virginia Department for the Blind and Visually Impaired, the Buddhist Tzu Chi Charity Foundation, Continuing Education trainings for private ABA agencies, and trainings for Countywide Public School Professional Days.
